How to sashimi Akagai

Characteristic: The best season is Autumn, although they are available all year round. They are pretty abondant along the Japan southern coastlines. Ark shells are usually not served cooked.
Sashimi (see top picture) is very much appreciated but sushi nigiri is definitely the most popular way to savour them! Adult size is about 5 to 6 cm long and 4 to 5 cm wide. It contains plenty of hemoglobin and iron, hence the color of the meat is red in color. It was just crunchy and quite tasteless. It has a high economic value as food.
